"You are Michael Carson, right?" King Edward greeted Michael.
Michael immediately focused on King Edward.
"Yes, Your Majesty," Michael replied.
"I heard from Princess Jasmine that you are very badly injured. She even asked me to send Doctor Arnold to treat you."
Michael was at a loss regarding how to respond to King Edward's statement. Princess Jasmine was too kind, but Michael feared that there was some motive behind her kind treatment.
"I feel very grateful for the help given by Princess Jasmine, Your Majesty. If Doctor Arnold hadn't helped me, I would be in a coffin right now," Michael replied.
King Edward smiled. He then approached Michael and took him by the shoulders.
"You are still a bachelor, aren't you?" asked King Edward suddenly.
