Michael didn't want to talk in public. He invited Barbara to another, more private place, on the beach, with Clarissa. "Why do we have to go to the beach?" Clarissa asked. "Because it's a quiet place," Michael replied. "I just don't want to make any noise. As you wish, my love." Sitting in the back seat, Barbara was fed up with Michael and Clarissa's intimacy.
