Sarah pulled the SUV into the compound and switched off the ignition. Instantly, Sophie jumped from the vehicle and ran into the house, just to see Nathaniel waiting for her patiently.
On seeing him, she smiled and ran to him. She tapped him and he turned with a smile.
" Hey ", she said shyly and to her surprise, he pulled her in for a hug. He held onto her like that and she inhaled his scent.
" I missed you ", he told her and her face turned tomatoes.
" If you hold onto me like that, I might not be able to let you go ", she muttered audibly and he instantly released her, clearing his throat.
" Hey, Nathan ", Sarah, who had been there all along, waved and he scratched the back of his head nervously, realising that they had all seen him.
