" That's a ......", She wanted to say but was cut off by the sound of gunshots. She raised her head instantly as armed men who were masked came inside the restaurant. Nathaniel eyes widened, his hands started shaking and the utensils he was using to eat dropped from his hands.
On seeing Nathaniel's shaking figure, Sophie stood up and hovered around him.
"Stay behind me, Nate", she ordered, bringing out her gun.
The masked men entered inside the restaurant and started fighting with the bouncers who were trying to stop them from entering. Nathaniel used that opportunity to hide under a table before they catch him. ' what have I gotten myself into? ', he thought as his hands continued to tremble. He shut his mouth firmly to avoid making any noise so that he won't get their attention.
