By 5:00 the next morning, Nathaniel left Sophie's house to go to his. He knew that he was going home to face an angry Cassie and wished he could stay at Sophie's, but he also knew he had to face it.
On getting home, he tried to sneak into the room, tiptoeing into the room, the lights switched on and he was caught.
" Did you think you could actually come home by this time and sleep? ", Cassie asked as Ken, who was sleeping in the sitting room, came inside the room.
" Look, Cass, I know that you're mad at me but, we can talk in the morning. Infact, we've got the whole of today to talk. I just want to sleep, that's all ", he pleaded and she bursted into laughter.
" Nathaniel, where did you go to? And why the hell are you coming back home by this time? ", She asked without wasting any more
