I can't believe it's been six months since we started college. Things have been going so well too. It's much different than high school, that's for sure.
For starters, I have way more friends than I have ever had before. Lila and I get together once a week with a few of our friends from high school. The ones we met in the program I started. We call it our 'Speak The Truth' club.
At first, it was only a few of us, but over time it grew. Almost like a whole new program, but for college. Honestly, I think it makes a lot of the freshmen feel safer. You always hear horror stories of frat parties, or predators in college. I'm glad that we can give everyone a safe space to speak their truth.
