Milo's P.O.V.

When Leo had called Millie to see when she would be home, he put the phone on speaker. We all heard Lila awkwardly talking while Millie sobbed in the background. All of us were put on edge.
Leo is convinced that something happened to Millie. Something like what happened with James. Leo might not ever talk about it, but he still worries. He hates letting Millie go anywhere alone still, and it's been years now.
I also thought something might have happened to her. Though, I had a more level head about it. If it was something that bad, then Lila would have told Leo. Lila sounded so awkward on the phone, like she wasn't sure what to say or do. That let me know that Millie couldn't have been hurt.
