I can't believe Millie really agreed to come up to the lake house a night early. Without our kids. I really didn't think she would go for it.
It's not like Millie doesn't trust our parents, she's just worried. I completely understand. Which is why I demanded texts and pictures of my kids until they fall asleep. Thankfully, Mom was understanding, as usual.
Millie is not the only one feeling anxious about being away from our twins. I think we all feel it a little. I just think that we all also understand that we deserve a night away from everything.
