"David." Millie's mom, Betty, turned to glare at her husband. "How could you say that to her?"
David shook his head.
"I didn't mean to say that last part, I just-" He tried, but Betty cut him off.
"You just nothing!" She seethed. "Now come on, we need to have a private talk with our daughter."
The two of them got up. I could see in Leo's eyes that he wanted to go too. His need to protect Millie has intensified since we all decided to keep this baby. Thankfully, he didn't go with them though.
"So." Darla said, breaking our awkward silence. "Who needs a drink?" She asked as she walked to the kitchen.
"How could you all let this happen?" Sarah asked angrily.
"We didn't let it happen." Milo said.
