2} Car crash

I didn’t sleep much the whole night since my mind was focused on seeing Aleksandrina the next morning.

I feel it, she’s my mate.

I’m surprised she can’t feel the bond, but maybe it’s because she’s half human, maybe we have to touch to know if we’re mates.

Her hair captivated my attention before her beautiful green eyes did, she has bright ginger hair like I’ve never seen, her skin is pale but a bit tan with freckles on almost every part of her body especially her face.

I shake my head trying not to think about her, but my mind goes blank as she walks into the living her hair all messed up and her face looking beautiful even in the morning. 


I want to kiss her.

Calm down man you just met her.

She smiles walking into her small kitchen,

“Morning your pack members are packing my things and I’m going to make breakfast before a shower." she says in her sweet voice although I know her voice holds much more authority than she’s using. 

I can feel the alpha blood running through her veins it’s strong, which means she’s hiding something. 

A female isn’t born to be a alpha only a Luna, plus her power of a fae is scary and I haven’t even seen it yet. 

Our father will try to kill her if he knew there’s a female alpha somewhere he didn’t know about my father is cold like that, he shows no mercy not caring who it is.

Even his own children.

She begins making breakfast I go into the kitchen sitting down watching her curiosity flowing through me. 

Why does she hide out here? Why is she so important? Eire told us she’ll be of use to us but how much? Will she betray us if we don’t win this war? 

She turns to me smiling, I give her a smile small feeling butterflies inside me as she looks towards me. 

“You’re Kade right? Jackson’s brother," she says I nod slowly but I shrug causing her to frown, she probably senses my tense and anger with Jackson but i kind of hate the guy. 

“We never really liked each other much, Jacob is more of my brother then those two i grew up with Jacob not Amir or Jackson.” I say not caring that they heard me but it’s true, he might be alpha but I don’t give two shits about him or Amir, Jacob is the only one that has been there for me as I've been there for him. 

He sided with our father, killed in his name and my mother then came back out of no where to run the pack that Jacob was supposed to be running. 

I never cared for alpha and I still don’t, they can have it and kill each other for all I care. 

“Poor boy, you seem to have something hidden deep inside you.” she says softly her voice is like slik and i can feel myself calming down, her pink plump lips poke out in a pout and my body stiffen.

Shes so beautiful.

I don’t speak after that, the girls come out of the room sitting around as Alek gets done preparing breakfast, the aroma makes my stomach growl loudly she smiles making my plate first.

“I hope you guys don’t mind me asking but what exactly did Eire tell you?” She says as we all sit around getting ready to eat, Jacob looks at Jackson who’s looks around. 

“She mentioned that you have the power to do anything we ask of, she said something about being a hybrid and you're famous in the fae world." he says she growls loudly surprising the hell out of me, it shooked the ground and it was manly as hell. 


Which shows she’s a true alpha, everyone can growl loudly and threatening as they want but that right there wasnt just any growl.

Pure alpha growl.

“Eire can’t keep her mouth shut!” she mumbles eating her food so we begin eating as well, we dont comment on what happend and im glad we didn't everyone makes small talk with Alek asking her questions and getting to know, i just stare lookinb at her.

She’s beautiful, breathtaking. 

I can tell she’s never been touched before, her body reacts immediately to me and it’s driving me crazy, I can smell her arousal from her, she can obviously feel the connection but why is she fighting it? 

After eating, she puts the dishes away going into the bathroom for a shower i sit with Jacob while we wait for the girls to get done pack, Calliope comes out a smile on her face.

She was my girlfriend, i liked her when i was younger but I couldn't be in a relationship when the girl isnt my mate, she didn't take it well. 

“So we packed her things, I pray she’s able to help Jack." Calliope says rubbing his back looking at him with sympathy, i roll my eyes but he rubs his chin in deep thought. 

“Eire said Aleksandrina has a twin brother Alessandro if she can’t help we’ll find him next, its worth a shot to see if he can also do what she can." He says I turn to him crossing my arms with a frown.

What?

“So we dump her like garbage if she’s no use to us?” I say Jackson surprise by me taking her side but no one deserves that. 

“No, she’ll join our pack if she wants she’s another powerful fae in our home.” he says I scoff going out to get some fresh air. 

The place is beautiful, the grass is green the small house is a cottage type of house. 

She takes care of her home. 

I’m liking her more already. 
…

We put her things in the car I shift back into human when we’re in the clearing, Alek gets off Jacob back as he shifts into human as well. 

“You could’ve drove up to my home,"she says Jackson shakes his head getting in one of the cars. 

I get In the car with Calliope, Aliyah, Aleksandrina and Jacob while the rest get into the other car. 

Jacob is in the driver seat while Calliope is in the passenger seat with the rest of us in the back, Aliyah is sitting between me and Aleksandrina and I’m happy for that or I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands off of her. 

We drive for hours leaving Ireland, Aleksandrina looks out the window and I know she’s going to miss her home by the way she’s looking out the window. I look out the window noticing it’s going to be morning soon, Calliope is asleep in the passenger seat and Aliyah is asleep leaning on Alek shoulder. 

The drive is quiet but I stayed up not feeling tired at all. 

Maybe it’s because Alek is here, i can feel her, feel her energy i want to be next to her. 

We drive for a few more hours before we’re finally in a small part of Oregon, but I see a black suv driving behind us from afar. 

How did they pop up this fast?

Alek wakes up and her eyes looks back Jacob drives faster causing Aliyah and Calliope to wake up in confusion. 

“What’s going on?” Aliyah says Alek doesn’t speak she just looks ahead but from the heat coming from her I know she’s pissed. 

They’re after her? Jackson? Is it dad’s wolves? 

Jackson drives faster so we can drive faster, but the truck immediately drives into us causing our car to flip over my whole life flashes before my eyes. 

My mates in this car, she might die.

Shes all i care about in this world now and she can't die now. 

Jacob tries to keep the car on its wheels but it still flips over, I grab Aliyah shielding her Alek looks towards us using a shield surprising me she does the same to the front. 

“Wait!” I yell at her as she gets out the car I look around for her panic written all over my face, the shield is preventing us from moving I look around the car seeing if there’s anyway for me to get out and find my mate but I can’t. 

Her shield is strong. 

I yell her name over and over again as everyone tries to break free from her shield. 

“She’s more then a damn fae, not even Athena or Ava can break or make this shield!" Jacob growls out I agree with him, but suddenly the shield is released immediately we jump out the car. I look to see everyone’s okay but have a few marks on them. 

Where’s Alek? I move off the grass going onto the road looking for my brothers car but my heart breaks for the first time at the scene I see. 

Alek is on the ground her bones breaking, she yells in pain I run over as quick as I can looking down at her face. 

“You shouldn’t have brought me here being in this place is making me shift!” She yells out I frown at what she’s saying but I hold her down, Jacob runs over to help while they look for the other car. 

I’m sure they didn’t just leave right? Leave it to Jackson to just up and leave. 

“She’s shifting?” Jacob says but Alek shakes her head,

“No way in hell, if i shift im going to get unwanted attention.” she says through clenched teeth but I know a shifter when I see one that’s impossible. 

“Alek you’re shifting." I tell her calmly she grunts and growl her eyes glowing a beautiful green like her eyes they're beautiful and real life green like the forest but a bit brighter i gaze into them as emotions appear in them. 

“I said I cant! Please find a way to stop it." she screams out as another bone breaks I wince at her pain but I put my hand over her face. 

“Don’t fight it, let it take over you I swear the pain will be over in a minute." I say trying to reason with her, Jacob growls looking to our left I turn to see two figures in the distance. 

Vampires. 

Suddenly Aleksandrina screams arching her back as fur sprouts on her body we move back as she turns on her back shifting into a ginger wolf. 

Like her hair…

She looks beautiful, she growls running off into the woods I look towards Jacob nodding my head he shifts into his black wolf running off to chase her while I stand up looking for the second car. 

I go to the other side seeing the car, I run over with Calliope and Aliyah following I see Jackson is unconscious while everyone is trying to get their way out, Athena face looks in relief as she sees us. 

“Get Jackson out first, he’s hurt." she says I grit my teeth going to help him, I buss the glass it shattering over him I use my claw to cut his seatbelt I start to pull his heavy body out the car. 

I lay him down going back to help them, once everyone’s out they start helping Jackson while my mind goes to Aleksandrina.

The fastest one in the pack I can chase anyone before they even run a inch from me. 

I sigh. 

Why do I have to have a mate? I dont mind of course its just i hate the constant worrying and i know itll get worse later.
