"Mother, what do you mean?" Selene was beginning to feel annoyed at her mom for some unknown reason. She woke up so early only to be told that her training would be delayed for now.
"You are not in good condition to train. That's the reason why your level has not prospered," her mother responded while drinking some water.
"Wasn't you the one who told me that cultivating my power is a long-term process? Why are you telling me to stop now?"
She couldn't understand her mother's point. Why must she need to stop? She is not sick and, most importantly, not sealed, which could hinder her from cultivating.
"You know why?"
Selene raised her brows at her mother's nonsensical question. How would she know it when she hasn't said anything yet.
"Of course no, that's why I'm asking, mother."
