Selene was lying on her bed, not wanting to get up or to eat— she lost spirit on everything. Aurora had been doing her best to lift her mood, but it was to no avail. That's why after hours of trying, she left defeated. Selene felt sorry because even Aurora got affected by what was going on with them.
Though she didn't say a word to her mother, she knows that her mum might already know who caused her pain this time. A kind of pain that numbed all her emotions, and she could no longer feel any but just a mere emptiness.
"Selene, come on— eat even a little," her mother voiced out after entering her room. She held a large tray with different kinds of dishes, but she didn't have any appetite.
