"Will you really protect me?", she said looking right into my eyes.
"Hmm but on one condition", I smirked.
"What condition?", she asked.
"Stop listening my thouhts. That's the deal. I'll help you to go back to your planet but you have to stop reading my mind", I said.
"Okay I promise I won't", she extended her pinky finger and I entwined it with mine into a promise.
"Won't you stamp it?", I asked.
"Do we have to? What is stamp?", she asked.
"Jeez! Stamp is a guarantee that you won't break your promise. Here like this. With your thumb stamp on my thumb", I said.
"You have to go on duty tomorrow? When will you come back?", she asked nervously.
"I will come late after midnight and leave very early in the morning", I said.
"Don't you sleep?"
"Stop asking questions. I have to leave also",I looked away and turned to the other side.
When I woke up again she was lying next to me. I pushed away her hair strands behind her ear. She is so pretty. I looked at the watch. f**k! I have to go for the duty.
Once I was ready and stepping my feet out of the house. I thought about her. Will she be okay alone? How can I leave her alone? What if there are terrorist attacks out of nowhere? s**t! For the first time I feel so uneasy.
"Relax Yoon Seok! It's only about today. Because starting tomorrow you have got a 30 days paid off so that you can go and meet your family", my inner voice said.
Yes! I will take her home with me and in these 30 days make her reach where she belongs. Though I have no idea how am I gonna send her to her planet. I didn't even know things like these existed. I still get goosebumps thinking she is an alien.

"Hm. About that. Leave that to me!", I said. "By the way where are rest of the members?
"Oh that! Sir they went to your house to get some firewood", he said.
"Okay! They went to my house", I said.
"They went to my house??????", I screamed once I processed what he said. If they will go to my house they will see that alien and if they see her it might become a problem.
I quickly took my coat and ran in the quickest speed I could.
And once I stepped in they all had already seen her. f**k! Destroyed! I am doomed!
She was wearing my white shirt with...with no pants. All of them faced to me, their eyes popping out and jaw dropping.
"Sir! Who is she?", one of them said.
"She is...", I said not getting what to say. I can't tell that she is an alien neither I can tell she is my girlfriend nor my fiance. What should I say?
"I am his wife", she said without hesitation.
"Sir are you married?", officer Kim asked.
"No I am not. She...is my wife-to-be", I lied.
"Ohh! Congratulations sir and sister in law", they shook hands with her and gave me a group hug.
"Sir sister in law almost squeezed my hand", Seo-Jun whispered in my ear once he moved away from the hug.
I just laughed awkwardly and glared at her deadly!
Once they all left I closed the door and approached her with anger boiling in my blood.
"Why did you call yourself as my wife? Hm?", I flicked my finger on her forehead.
She copied me and said,"Because you said you can't introduce me as your girlfriend or fiance."
"When did I say that", I held her wrist so she can stop flicking her finger on my forehead.
"You said that in your mind", she smiled for 0.1 second.
"Oh! You are saying you broke your promise? Huh?", I pinned her against the wall.
"In emergency situations I don't care what's a promise", she said.
"Then why did you stamp it last night?", I asked bringing my face more closer to her.
"I tried not to read your mind but your voice keeps on ringing in my head. I can't stop myself. It's not my fault", she said coming more closer to me.
I didn't say anything and neither did she. And that was when the door swinged open.
"Sirr will you go........oh sorry! Sorry", he closed the door so that he doesn't disturb our privacy.
I moved away from her and went out to see what was he asking.
"Ahem! What happened?", I crossed my arm
"Ah! Sir I was asking if you really are going to your hometown tomorrow", he said.
"Umm yes I am", I said nodding.
"But Sir due to that incident last night. About that dead naked guy. The senior generals are losing their minds out. And at this time I think it's unfair to go on an off. I mean it's your choice but still if you can consider the off for next week", he scratched his neck.
He is right though. I can't go on an off without closing this case.
"I will think about it", I said and saw off him with a goodbye wave.
I came back in the house and she was eating chicken.
"Oh sir. You're back", she said.
"Hm! Ahh! You said you can become smarter once you hold my hand, right?", I asked.
"Yes I can copy all the data from your head and paste into mine", she said.
"So I will give you 2 minutes daily to hold my hand so you can take all the data properly", I said looking anywhere but her.
She strolled towards me and hold my hand without saying anything. Then she closed her eyes and copied the data she needed.
I kept on looking at her. She looked so peaceful with closed eyes. She opened her eyes out of a sudden and caught me staring at her.
"What did you learn?", I asked coughing.
"Unfortunately maths. And now my maths is like yours", she laughed.
I laughed too,"What do you mean? Huh? I never failed in maths. I just got less than passing marks !"
"You get lower than passing marks only when you fail", she laughed happily.
And the room echoed with our laughs.
