**18 years later ** Lira's POV Life is full of challenges but mine , mine was worse. I took a deep breath as I stared at myself in the mirror adjusting my glasses. I tied my hair and took my bag . "Today will be better ," I told myself and got out of my small room. My mother looked at me and smiled. "You ready," I couldn't help but notice her beautiful blue orbs unlike my dark ones, her blonde hair compared to my curly black one. She was beautiful . She was my best friend, my rock, she never judged me for who I was but encouraged me always. I smiled at her and she embraced me. "Young lady you better hurry up this vegetables are not going to deliver themselves." My grandmother slightly pinched my cheek . I waved goodbye at my mom as we got into the small cottage . As the horses started moving I could feel the cold morning air on my face and I smiled . The sun beamed on my face kissing my eyes ever so delicately. I felt my granny squeeze my hand and I looked up at her. "Lira, dear, am getting quite old and am soon going to...."I stopped her before she could finish. "Granny how could say such a thing, "I held her hand. "The fairies told me last night my time is near." I rolled my eyes at her talk of fairies but her eyes always sparkled at the talk of them. "Fairies aren't really grandmother, and why do you keep talking about them,"I asked as I slowed down the horses as we reached the market. "They are real little one , you just have to open your eyes and see, how do you think you came to this world?" I looked at her and she was playing with her fingers. I helped her get down and I could already feel the stares from the market people. I placed the produce in the stalls . What did she mean by where I came from.
