"Gerard who's available?" Ray asked his assistant who was standing at a distance, ready at his beck and call. He was reaching out for a shirt, his bare body exposed from the waist up
The trio were alone during the post-shoot change.
"Jane," Gerard answered with a professional and levelled tone.
"Is she in South Africa?" Ray asked, as his fingers manoeuvered the buttons of his shirt.
"Yes, according to her, she came to see a friend..." he paused when he heard Max whisper his name, drawing his attention.
Max winked at him thrice.
Gerard jolted back into the present moment, remembering Choice's impending arrival.
He recalled Max had planned to surprise Ray with Choice, since she promised not to fight with him. He had to comply and keep it a secret, even though he didn't like the idea.
