“ What do you mean trouble in paradise?”
I sigh, I am still in shock from what happened in my room a few minutes ago.
I reach for the food that Ace left behind for me. If I am going to have this conversation with mum then I will need all the energy I can get.
I begin to munch on the food, and mums still have some pieces of the meat that are in the packet.
I glare at her and she simply shrugs her shoulders. “ Ace is the troubled mum!” I whine.
She chuckles, “ I miss those days when your dad used to trouble me a lot. It was hard for him to get me to like him but when we did gosh it was everything.” She has dreamy look in her eyes and I roll mine.
“ Mum we are talking about me here!” I scold her.
