Alina and Ezra settled in over the coming weeks. Ezra trained for hours every day as well as took classes on battle planning and strategy. Alina went all in learning nursing and shadowing the doctor at the pack hospital. She'd never been happier, even while missing her friends and family back home.
"I tell you, Alina, moving here was the best thing to happen to us," Ezra said at dinner one night. He was shoveling food into his mouth. "We have cousins, Aunts and Uncles, we get to actually do something with our lives!"
"Apart from being banished... yes, it's been great," Alina smiled. "Do they feed you at training?"
