SERA
I sat inside my room feeling exhausted from the day’s work, Rosaletta promised me her daughter would come over by the weekend. I was happy. I needed someone to talk to. Someone I could relate to.
Alpha Roman has been out all day I wonder where he went. I overheard two of the maids saying he went to see his mistress. Why do they gossip so much, is the job that easy?
I never expected much from him, but I thought he would be different. I wonder why but I felt he wouldn’t be like the other guys. But as they say, he is a man after all. The thought of what they might be doing cringes me.
I might not be the type of girl he likes after all. Probably because I don’t give him the sexy vibes he seeks.
Broken from my thoughts I heard a noise by my window. I walked over to check out where the noise was coming from but there was nothing there. It felt strange. My instincts said otherwise but I let it slide.
Someone grabbed me from behind and covered my mouth with a cloth. I screamed but the noises were not coming out. Let me go, let me go.
He seemed angry before I could figure out what was happening a dark cloth covered my head the darkness engulfed me.
My eyes opened to an unfamiliar place. My head felt light it was as tho I was seeing things. Everywhere was shaky. I couldn’t recognize this place. Where was I?
“Well, well if it isn’t my beloved Sera”. A voice came from behind me. It sounded familiar.
“You thought you could break up with me just like that, just because you left the pack”.
Louis. I gasped. Fear overwhelmed me. How did he know where I was?
Let me go, Louis. I promise you Alpha Roman will come for me and you won’t like it.
Poor, Poor girl What makes you think that the Alpha will waste his time on a poor little girl like you? You don’t deserve his time you orphan girl. Louis said as he walked closer to me.
Before he could react I slapped him with a loud thud. It echoed around the room. He disgusts me. I regretted ever loving him. He was not my mate that I’m sure of because I strongly believed my mate would not be as dumb as him.
I always believed he would be my mate. I thought we were meant to be because of that stupid alliance between my father and his. It all made sense when I grew older that my father had made that alliance because of his greed.
The same greed that made him take the life of his wife. I hated him. I hated everyone who ever liked him. He was a MONSTER.
Louis pressed forward and dragged me by my neck. “How dare you unfortunate girl slap me”. Is this a new habit you picked up at the Alpha’s castle? I guess I’ll have to remind you who you were messing with.
He slapped me. And kept on hitting me. I pleaded and pleaded. I shouldn’t have hit him. Now I made him furious.
Louis let me go!! Louis let me go please!!
Louis pushed me over to the bed and placed himself on me. Fear gripped me. I grew even more scared.
Louis, Louis listen to me don’t do this. You don’t know what you’re doing right now, please. I beg of you.
His eyes said otherwise as he stared at me with a lustful gaze. Looking at my exposed skin. I was only in my nightdress. I felt so exposed.
Covering myself with my hands I shivered the more. He did not like the sight of that. He dragged me down and pinned me to the bed. With my cleavage peeping out of my clothes. I wished they were smaller.
The hunger in his eyes seemed like something he had been keeping for a long time. He jerked off his shirt and pressed his bare body against me.
“Shut up” I’ll make sure you enjoy it. You never did give me a chance to make you mine.
I’m not yours Louis let me go please. Fresh tears poured out as he slid his hands under my dress and touched me down there. I could feel his junior pressing on me and the thought of a man like him on me disgusts me.
I screamed even louder. I screamed as my life depended on it, because it did. His touches were infuriating I couldn’t take it any further.
A loud thud came from the door as it swung open.
“Get your filthy hands off her”.
Roman, I whispered. You came for me I said sobbing.
Roman charged towards Louis with fury in his eyes grabbed him and punched him on his face.
“Sera are you okay”. He looked at me with softness in his eyes. I wanted to believe it was care. That was the first time Roman called me by my name. I felt tingly.
He looked at my bruised body with hurt and guilt in his eyes. He covered me up with his jacket and carried me in his arms.
I did not know if this was a dream but I didn’t want it to stop. We strode to the car with me in his arms. Getting into the car as we drove away.
“Are you okay” Roman asked.
I was still in shock at what had happened with Louis. I was afraid I would tear up again if I spoke to him. He saved me. What would have happened if he hadn’t been there on time?
He noticed my silence and embraced me. I burst into tears. Crying my heart out from everything I had been bottling away. Why did it seem like the universe was against me? Why was I being punished by the moon goddess?
Don’t be scared, no one will hurt you ever again. His words came out as whispers to my ears. Why was he assuring me of this, does he care for me?
We got to the house and he refused to let me get out of the car myself. He adjusted the jacket and carried me in his arms again walking into the house.
All eyes were on us as he carried me upstairs to my room not caring about what anyone would say. I know I’m gonna be the gossip of the night amongst those bickering maids.
I was lost in him as he carried me into my room. I felt a part of me missing when he put me on his bed. I craved his touch. I wanted the warmth that came with his body.
I was going crazy over here. He stared deep into my eyes and covered me with my blanket.
“I’m sorry about what happened today”. He said as he stood up and walked away.
