“You’re my Mate Sera” Roman said as he fixed his gaze on me. The look turned cold real fast when he saw Alpha Eric’s hands on mine. With anger, he dragged me away from Eric and took me to his chambers pushing me into his room.
“How dare you Olly” Is this some joke?
No it’s not Eric is my mate. But I’m your mate as well. Well…there must be some mistake somewhere.
You and I can never work you hate me remember, I yelled and stormed off banging the door behind me. Roman stood there with a complex look not knowing what to do.
I ran to the back of the castle, crying not knowing what to do. Why me? Why now. I just wanted a peaceful birthday and a peaceful night. Why didn’t it all just work out?
I heard noises coming from the garden and I walked over to see who it was. It was Roman’s father and a girl who seemed like she was his daughter kissing. I gasped at this shocking scene.
They seem to be enjoying every bit of it as she lets him caress her. I turned away when she took out the member and started pressing it into her mouth. What a slut. Why didn’t they just get a room or something? Now she couldn’t unsee those things.
She heard voices coming from the other end of the garden and rushed back into the ballroom. She needed a break. Sipping through some wine she felt exhausted. A familiar scent walked behind her and held her hand.
Eric. She gasped. I’m sorry about what happened earlier Alpha Roman behaves like that sometimes.
“It’s fine my sunshine” he said with his voice as calm as the ocean breeze at night.
“Come with me” he whispered in my ear. I nodded letting him take me where he wanted to.
We strode outside into the forest to see the full moon in its full form. It was beautiful. I’ve never really left the castle and have been around the pack since I came. Roman kept me in like a prisoner.
Lost in my thoughts at the beauty of the night I did not notice Eric come behind and whisper Happy Birthday in my ears.
I turned around to see him with a beautiful little cake, surprised as to how he knew it was my birthday.
How did you know it was my birthday? You and I are like one so it’s natural for me to know everything about you.
I can see what you see and feel what you feel. The mate bond is stronger on this end. It was like a dream come true as someone finally cared for me.
Wiping my tears I remembered how my past had been. My father didn’t even let me celebrate my wins not to speak of my birthday. Louis was no better. He was egocentric and cared only about himself.
Life had really been unfair to me. Noticing my mood Eric pulled me in for a hug. It felt like everything I ever needed. He came with peace, anything he’s around me he feels like my calmness.
Alpha Roman on the other hand brings out the angry side of me. He tries so much but I don’t understand why there’s still a connection between us. Oh, Moon Goddess please let me be loved.
After a long while of spending the few minutes left of my birthday together we went inside. It was Alpha Roman’s time to pick his mate. Everyone stopped what they were doing and paid attention.
We gathered waiting for him. His father walked in and so did the girl shortly after. Who was she? I noticed her asking Gusto where Roman was. He highlighted that he was in his room and would be out in a minute.
Turning towards Eric I asked. “Who is that girl standing close to Beta”. She’s Roman’s mistress Ivy. I gasped.
WHAT!!!
So Roman’s Mistress is having a fling with his father as well. This was some news. She’s f*****g the whole family. What a disgraceful Act.
Roman strode in and it was time to make the announcement he stood up the stairs with his eyes fixed on mine as he wanted to give his speech.
What was he going to say? Why is he staring at me, My pulse quickened.
Stepping down the staircase he said that he would reveal his future Queen and Luna to the pack soon but had to deal with something first. His eyes still fixed on mine he walked to his mistress taking her by the hand and they both left the hall.
Curiosity getting the best of me I followed them and saw her begging him at the back. It seemed like he was angry at something or did he find out? Soon after he hugged her after an episode of spilling out fake tears. Sly Witch!!!!
I walked back in angry and figured out Eric had left the Hall. Seemed he had something important to catch up with. Alpha Roman came back this time to make an announcement and everyone stood eagerly waiting for what he would say next.
“Shadowfang, pack your new Luna and my mate is no other than Sera Olly. Come up here Sera.
The crowd gasped as they all turned to stare at me. Is she from a royal bloodline an elder in the pack council asked.
What Abilities does she have? Does she have a wolf? Their questions came storming into my head as the hall was filled with noises and chattering.
I ran upstairs filled with humiliation and embarrassment. Why did Alpha Roman take such a decision without telling me?
I can’t handle this I need to leave. I heard a bang on the door and opened it to see Roman’s angry face.
“Why did you disgrace me that way” I told you to come up to me and you ran away like a scared little girl.
Can’t you see Alpha Your people don’t want me. And I don’t even want you. I don’t love you Alpha Roman.
You are my Mate and must marry me. No, I will do no such thing.
You will be my wife Sera your opinion doesn’t count. He roared out in anger.
This is why I’d always pick Eric over you Alpha Roman always. Because you’re nothing but a mean, selfish, heartless human being who forces his opinions on people.
And I will never love you!!!
I stormed away running away from the Castle, Roman, Shadowfang pack, and everything. I didn’t care where I went, I just ran.
My heart was beating fast, my head was spinning. But my legs didn’t stop. I let out a loud howl as my eyes turned yellow. With a strength I never knew I possessed.
“Sera, Sera. I heard my name from behind. But I did not stop. I felt a surge of power going through me as I howled at the top of my voice.
“She has changed” My mate is now a full Werewolf.
I slowed down my pace trying to catch my breath. Sera please let me help you. Roman said walking closer to me. You have to trust me I can help you Sera.
No stay away from me. You’re nothing but trouble. I don’t need your help. I said to him panting.
The last thing I remember was me collapsing on the floor as Roman screamed my name in panic.
