Jaden was resting against the seat, eyes closed. Did ghosts sleep? He wasn’t really a ghost. He wasn’t dead. But he was dead, here. Never mind. This was too confusing. Slowly the traffic disappeared until we only saw the occasional car. It was actually pretty nice without a bunch of vehicles clogging up the road. Rebecca drove a lot faster than I expected.
