Digging deep into Bulldog’s case is one aspect of criminal defense that Marc knows he cannot handle alone. Not in 30 days. There are many stones to turn over, witnesses to find and interview, forensics to evaluate and validate. Most PI’s stick to divorce and custody cases or background checks for employment. He knows there is only one kind of PI who is up to the task he needs carried out. Digging through criminal cases is a specialty that defense attorneys pay highly for, especially if they have a client with means. But poor people are often denied justice because such services are out of their reach. To find someone willing to take on a pro bono investigation is a pipe dream, and his fellow attorneys aren’t much help with leads. But Marc has one ace in the hole.
