Madalena arrives at San Diego International Airport at 4pm PDT. The 15-plus hour flight has left her no worse for wear, thanks to first class accommodations that included a private compartment with shower and room to change. Looking refreshed and stunning in a cool blue cocktail suit that enhances her stylish black hair and crimson lipstick, Madalena hails a cab to the Ibarra Winery so she can crash the family dinner that will announce Anabel’s engagement.
She is no longer intimidated by Amador. She knows in her bones that he killed Helena and that Miguel has covered for him. She has the knife that will seal Amador’s fate, but she cannot just bluntly come out with the accusation. She wants him to sweat and eventually implicate himself by his suspicious actions.
