Julians POV
Julian sat on his bed. He was so confused by the woman in the next room. The woman who was supposed to be his mate but refused to tell him anything. She was hiding so much of herself from him. Though their first few meetings hadn’t exactly been very romantic. It was clear she had been running for a while and would take time to trust him.
Not that he could tell her what his wolf was telling him. Why was this all so complicated? It wasn’t supposed to be. Usually, mated pairs came together and were one. Everyone in the pack knew it straight away.
