traditions at boys side.... vivaha deksha(intiation of marriage): start of marriage.... yagyopaveta dharanam( placing a thread around the neck): this ritual is done by the brides parents saying from now my daughter will be taking all the responsibilities of your family..... pramana swekaram: taking vows not to do few things.....(want to know brief marriage ) varagamanam: groom is coming to marriage happening place and staying at their place.... pakshula jyotsyam: birds telling about future... even it was scientifically proved that the animals and birds can know future... the type of sounds made by these birds when the groom started for mandap(marriage happening place ) will say how the life of the couple will be... after coming to mandap the groom is made to sit facing east side...
