Chapter 12Knowing that school was resuming, I made a point of reading the chapters I was supposed to read, and made a half-hearted stab at my math. I hated math. I didn't understand why we had to repeat everything we had already done in high school. If it wasn't for the fact that I wanted to get a degree in something, I wouldn't have gone to college. I was still not sure I'd stay in college. I'd never liked the rigid school schedule, homework, teachers, or most of the students—at least the ones who were immature. My only hope was that perhaps they would find a suitable teacher for our creative writing class and I could continue to learn more about writing.
