CHAPTER EIGHTY-TWO
LANCE POV
I wake with a nagging pain in my head. Trying to think what the hell happened. We were on our way to the warehouse, then, well it seems that’s when it goes black. That’s when my memories stop.
I can hear voices both men and women, there are voices that feel familiar but I can't seem to place them yet. Noticing I am in a comfortable bed not a cot in a cell so that is a positive.
I guess that means whoever grabbed me didn't want to put me in a cell, gradually I attempt to open my eyes, the room is bright but not so bright it makes it worse as I pry my eyelids open.
