GABRIEL POV
I wake with a feeling of euphoria that was very unexpected! I expected to wake feeling a s**t-ton of crap, the beeping around me a strong reminder of how things went badly. Gathering all my thoughts, I try to pin point the feeling, that’s when I realise it’s carmine, he is the reason for this blissful feeling I wake too.
He must be spending time with Missy, the feeling one of many that I remember from before. Thanking the Goddess I have all my memories, with a whack to the head like I took I guess I’m luckier than I realised... After a quick apology I mind-link Daphne to let her know I am awake, she promptly made it to my room then began checking me from head to toe and back again.
