Pacing back and forth, waiting for Gabriel to get back. He stopped at the front door, and left the car taking the steps three at a time, the door slammed open hitting the wall behind it, Gabe storming through, “Gabe, what happened?” I asked as he skidded to a halt when he heard my question.
