During the week doing online classes, we each had our own table, a laptop each. No point us all having one for the same thing. Leo, Jace and Reece sat on one table and me, Betty and Benji sat on another table further away, so our lessons didn’t talk over each other’s.
The best parts for me were the morning and lunch break. No rushing to college, no having to share a canteen with everyone who hates me. It was peaceful. Doing what I promised myself, I would give them all a chance. I even engaged in the conversations. Only a few words here or there, but I engaged and I was accepted. I felt myself relaxing more each day. We also got to enjoy the weather turning nice, the sun shining down on us. Some lessons we took outside.
