Class today was a strange one for me, the teacher wanted us to pair up. I know I was going to be on my own, so I just stayed seated, but to my surprise Jace’s girlfriend sat next to me, I was shocked, my mind blank when she gave me a smile and introduced herself as Betty. No words left me, I couldn’t figure out what to say to her. For so long I have been on my own, not having a conversation with someone my age. Then the suspicion kicked in, why is she sitting with me.
