Leo was holding me when I woke up. I wasn’t sure what to feel. I know he seems to of had a change of heart, but I was scared someone else would be in the room with us, taking photos and posting online calling me names, or make me believe they are helping me to suddenly give me back to my dad. My body naturally stiffened up waiting for something to happen.
I was surprised nothing did happen. After I had to make a mad dash for the bathroom, we sort of talked. I could see Leo hadn’t planned on what he told me, what he said to me. It was subconscious. I think that is what made me agree to therapy. I have heard it can help, dependent on the person it could be a breakthrough quick, or it could take years.
