The next morning, the doctor came into the room to check me over. Leo was in the room, thankfully behind the curtain. When the doctor finished, he opened the curtain and told Leo and me that I could leave the hospital. I can get dressed again. This felt overwhelming, and too soon. I know I said I would leave this town, but now it is here, and I have no plan. I didn’t know what to do. Leo said he had my clothes for me, so he texted Betty, and she will pick an outfit for me.
