I wake up to hear whispered voices of people who sound my age. And the very irritating voice that makes me want to bash my brains out. Of the commander.
“Can you guys keep it down? I’m trying to sleep!” I yell at them.
“Jason we are ready to begin with a 2 blood draws. We actually need them now though. We aren’t going to force you. But please think about it. My daughter was just bit by a mouse that had a bitten off chunk on its body. The virus is infecting other lifeforms now. She’s not immune but her body is very talorent to the virus so she won’t turn as fast. But we need to get the cure going. Please Jason?” I hear a female doctor beg me.
“Okay, yeah sorry. I just haven’t slept in so long. Umm what do I need to do?”
“We just need two vials of blood. My baby girl has offered to be the first volunteer due to the circumstances we need to get it going fast. We’ve tested this formula with the blood we had from you and it has worked and cured mice and rate that were infected.”
“Okay, go ahead.” I say while yawning.
She expertly sticks the needle in my arm. So expertly that I didn’t know she had it in me until I felt movement on my arm and she got up and scurrying away saying thank you to me about a billion times.
Another nurse came to me soon after the and put a cotton ball and a wrap on my arm to stop the bleeding since the doctor forgot to do it. Due to her being in a hurry to save her daughter which I fully understand.
My day went actually un interrupted from there at 6am to now at 12:30pm.
I was eating lunch when suddenly alarms started going off everywhere saying “code Red” but the next part was the scary one. It was saying code red infection breech. Get to the bunker. Code Red infection breech get to the bunker.
