The Beginning Of The End

Chapter 5

As soon as I get outside the door I am greeted with a very smelly and decomposed zombie. The zombie sees me and tries to take a bite off of my arm but then scenes the cure running through my veins and thinks better of it. 

I get to Erick in a few moments after leaving and boy is he busy, the commander of that wretched place didn't inject him with anything, so all of the zombies are fixated on Jason and the others in the basement of that house,  and at the same time Erick.

"Hey dumb asses come and get me!" 

As soon as I yell that Erick throws me a huge bomb...when i say huge i mean its bulky but not heavy.

"Arm it and throw it... we need to do it quickly before they break down that door... have you ever played call of duty zombies? If you have, this should work just like a monkey bomb... I've put some raw meat in the middle of it so the zombies will smell it and try to get a free meal.  But instead of a meal,  their heads will get blown off."

I do as told, and just like he said all f the zombies surrounding the bomb go to grab at the bomb, only to realize that its a trick and they are blown to smithereens before they can get away.

"Good it worked, now come here and get 5 more and d the same thing."

It takes about 45 minutes before the task at hand is completely done, and when it is done we notice another hoard coming our way and need to get to Jason and the others before they get here, which will be in like 30 minutes due to their extremely slow pace.

"Okay guys come out quick, we don't have much time."

They do as told and imminently see the urgency of the situation and start to pack things like food, guns and ammunition in a few backpacks they must of found in the basement they were in for what must of felt like hours.

 Just as we were about to leave 3 fairly fast zombies attack a girl named Libia and to our amazement Jason saves her by injecting her with what must be a stolen cure. When you get bite by a zombie you'll have about 30 seconds until you'll turn but she didn't because she now has the cure running through her veins.

With a small gash out of her arm she is still screaming with pain. But the good thing is that she'll live now because of the cure that COULD be saving millions of lives as we speak.

"Libia your fine! Your not going to turn. I injected you with a cure that will kill off the virus that the zombie just gave you."

"Wait you stole a cure from the commander! He's gonna kill you."

"Hey it was worth it now wasn't it, you aren't a brainless eating machine eating other human beings."

"Yeah I guess...thanks a lot Jason."

"Alright now lets get a move on!" "

Guys the hoard is almost here!"

Just as that was said, we were all able to here a snarl of a zombie that is doing its best to run, but it just can't.

"RUN! they are already here!"

About 3 days of running like crazy we make it to a small town in Idaho called Glens Fairy but the weird part was that around the town there's a huge 50 foot fence  made of concrete and brick and dry wall. And there is a huge contraption thingy that probably a gate but before we could wander any more we herd a loud banging sound and all of the sudden we were surrounded by about 30 zombies. 

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, let them be they are just passing through geese."

As soon as we here that we here chains being pulled and the zombies moving back to their cells. 

"What the hell?"

"I bet you ya'll wandering what the hell is going on, and how we did this in time."

"Um duh (Angeline said.)

"I don't like your attitude... feed her to the zombies."

But before she could protest she was dragged and thrown in a hole with 3 zombies.

"What the hell, how come they aren't eating her!"

"They aren't eating me because I have received the cure to the virus."

"Don't pull s**t, said the guy as he pulls our a hand gun from his pocket."

"Okay... well we are from a lab in the middle of Nevada's dessert known as area 51, but we had to escape because the man in charge of that place created the virus as an attempt to create a cure for cancer and death itself."

"Bullshit...my brother works there and he would never do such a thing!"

"Well we have proof we stole a few cures for this wretched disease that has turned us into mindless eating machines we've already had to use the cure once as one of our own have been bit by a zombie."

"Well we should have a talk with my brother of mine then."

"I don't think that is a good idea, you see, he just killed someone who claimed to be his sister yesterday. What was her name? Oh yeah it was Kerry."

"Oh my god... He killed Kerry?"

"Yeah, i'm sorry for you're loss."

"Yeah it's fine, i'm sorry for all of your losses all because of my retarded brother."

"It's fine, I've had my time to adjust and plus now is not the time to grieve, we need to focus on survival."

"Yeah sorry for holding you at gunpoint but its just protocol, please come in before some of the dead find your scent, and make yourself at home and we'll decide if you can stay or not."
