Having no desire to hold prisoners, Sarge ordered all the remaining Hoplites to be relieved of their weapons and placed on two Greek ships, setting them free.
When the crews and slaves of the captured ships were given a choice between leaving with the Hoplites or joining the Seventh, all the slaves and most of the ships’ crews decided to stay with the Seventh Fleet. The offer of being paid one gold “7” a day for their service had a great influence on their decisions.
The victory added thirteen ships to the Seventh Fleet.
One of the captured ships was turned into an infirmary, where Karina and Tin Tin, along with several helpers, treated the many wounded fighters.
