Louis

His whole body became thin and light like cotton, there was no strength left to resist. So she just needed a slight push to make him roll over on the bed. Leaving him alone, she ran out of the house. She wandered alone on the busy street, the commotion made her lost and lonely, her eyes filled with tears and she dreamily looked at everything meaningless. She thought her endurance was great! But now she understood how fragile it was. Although she could predict everything, she couldn't accept it. She was not a person who had never received humiliation, yet the moment she heard those words coming out of her brother's mouth, she could not contain herself. She even felt a little hurt. She sneered at her lips: human life is nothing. The light from the headlights behind her awakened her mind. Instinctively she turned her head to look, her hands dangling over her face. A tall figure stepped down, the glare made it impossible for her to see his face, but deep down she secretly wished he was chasing her. As long as that person is him, she will obediently return. “Maria… Why are you here?” That voice sounds so strange! After all, it's not you. It turned out that she herself thought too much. He won't come. Even if someone reported her accident now, he would have come. Anyway, now she is at peace. When the other man approached Maria, he could clearly see who it was. “Louis… How did you recognize me?” “Of course, she always had a special meaning in my eyes. So no matter what you turn into, I will notice.” Maria laughed out loud, the corners of her eyelids became sparkling: "I didn't expect Louis to know how to make jokes, right?" Louis did not reply quickly, he took off his vest and put it on Maria. “It's cold outside! Why are you dressed so thinly?” Maria lowered her head to look at the hem of her charcoal green vest, smiling at her lips. "Because I was in such a hurry that I didn't have time to put on a coat." As soon as David chased him, when he saw Maria wearing Louis's shirt and freely getting into his car, he was so angry. His legs were stunned, his eyes wobbled at the coat in his hand, then back at the couple in the distance. "That's ridiculous..." David curled his lips and groaned in helplessness. He turned and left as if he had never come. During the whole journey, Maria didn't say a word, just quietly looked out the window. She carefully observed everything on the side of the road. It seemed that she wanted to focus her memory and strength on it to relieve her sorrow and sorrow. Seeing that she seemed different, Louis suddenly asked: “How are you today? She looks like she has a mind, doesn't she? Arguing with David." Maria turned to look at Louis and asked: “If I remember correctly, you are a surgeon, right? Why are you so influenced by the psychology major?" Louis sighed. “I was just curious! After all, I was always the only person beside David. Suddenly she interrupted me, making me not familiar. I just wanted to see if the two of you had reached the point of rift!” Maria laughed. "Doctor Louis, you are too evil." Louis looked at Maria and smiled lightly. "If it's not evil, how can you touch the cutlery? When I do surgery, I will have to cut into the skin of a living person, until the anesthetic wears off. They will die and come back to life. At that moment, I suddenly thought: this profession of a doctor is really both humane and cruel." Maria was completely convinced, she nodded rapidly: "It's also true." Louis continued: “There are some things in this world that you just can't do. You may think that God is unfair, but in fact, God is very fair. There will be no one in this world who is completely satisfied, everyone will come to a time of sadness because they are not satisfied. The main thing is whether the person himself dares to face it or not! The road ahead still has to be walked and can't be stopped for anything. The path may be available, but whichever way you go is your choice.” These words are not flowery, not exaggerated, but they leave many thoughts in the heart of Maria. “Didn't expect you to be so profound! Not like the devil David." Louis paused for a moment, but quickly smiled to dispel the sadness: "Aren't you afraid that I will tell David these words?" “If you're good enough, let's take one more attack! When people get used to all kinds of coercion, they will no longer feel fear.” Louis's throat was slightly constricted: “I'm kidding you, I won't tell! Actually, David is not that bad. It's just that he's not good at expressing his emotions! You'll understand it little by little!" Maria pursed her lips to protest: "If he wasn't evil, there wouldn't be anyone else in the world who was evil." "Then why did you agree to marry?" The question made Maria stop. Her eyelids suddenly got wet: "It's because of my mother's will." Seeing that, Louis had some regrets, it seemed that he had triggered the pain buried in her heart. "Sorry…" "No problem." After returning to the room, Maria lay on the sofa thinking, and occasionally sighed. David turned over and over again, unable to sleep. Finally, he asked: "Where are you going?" “I thought you were asleep! Just go out for a walk!” "With Louis?" “Yes… How do you know?” "I saw him take you home." The air suddenly turned thick again as they both fell silent. Even though they were husband and wife, they never slept in the same bed. Usually, the person who sleeps later will have to lie on the sofa. In the past, David returned home very late, so she could easily invade the bed. But today she was the one who returned late, so she curled up on the sofa. During the long night, Maria could not sleep, partly because the area was so narrow that every time she turned over, she would fall to the ground in pain, partly because of the cold. Every time she looked up at the bed, she looked up at the bed, the more she slept, the more she regretted it. It wasn't until the sky was dimly lit that she slept for a while. It wasn't long before the peaceful time came again. She had only just turned around when David passed by, seeing her almost falling, he reflexively caught her. Unexpectedly, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling herself closer. “David… you…” When he tried to shake her up, she stubbornly said loudly: "You stay there for me." Just as the door of the room was ajar, Bella excitedly entered: “Maria, are you… awake?” The scene in front of her momentarily made her dumbfounded, but she quickly reacted: “You two continue… keep going. I don't bother anymore." “No… not what you think!” Before David's words were finished, the door to the room was slammed shut. He sighed helplessly, deliberately knocking her to the ground. She was in so much pain that she woke up. “What are you doing? Crazy?" "If you're crazy, then..."
