NAKIA’S POV
I huffed as I ran as fast as I could in the bushes and towards the river with something on my trail; I shifted into my wolf self and quickened my pace.
The rushes of the breeze and leaves on my fur, I couldn’t look back to check if the person was still on my trail. I might lose balance and fall since I’m just getting a hang of my wolf nature.
I heard twigs creaking behind me and I knew whoever it is was getting very close to me, My heart was now beating faster than anything, all my senses completely heightened. I could hear more clearly, smell clearly and my vision was like anything I’ve ever seen.
