Adam answers the door, and Candy, comes right in with her hands over her eyes asking, “ARE YOU BOTH DECENT FOR ME TO OPEN MY EYES?”
We laugh as we say, “yes” at the same time.
Candy asks Adam if, “he is done with me for now because, we are all going shopping for furniture for the new apartment.” Today we get the keys. I hesitate because with me not working right now. I have no money, but the girls wave me off telling me “they got it.”
Adam gives her an odd look, rubbing the back of his neck he asks, “if he can speak to me for a minute.” I'm wondering what is going on in his head, and he looks nervous. He takes my hand, leading me to his room, shutting the door.
