17. Bria

We are at, the car wash. I'm helping Courtney, and Candy. Clean out the car when, I hear Adams, mustang pull in. I know it's him just by the sound of his car.

When I see Adam get out of his car and smile at me. Liam must notice something off because, he gets out of the car. Asking me, “who the f**k is that?” I reply with “oh. That’s Adam.” With a blush I go to walk to the trash can to throw the stuff in my hand in.

Liam yanks me back hard. Liam, is in my face asking, “what I’m blushing for.” Candy goes to say something but, the look I give her she stops. With a sad look. I pretend to have no idea what he is talking about, then I hear, “BRIA!” Liam turns around to see Adam waving with a smile. Liam is too busy staring at Adam to see me blush, And wave back. however, I don't think his friend Jake missed it but, he doesn't say anything.

I've always got the feeling Jake feels bad for me. There is a lot of things Jake has seen. So, I Don’t think he is going to say anything. Courtney goes to step in when she Freezes, hearing cars pull in. Bridgett, mike, Justin, and shadow all pull in. I freeze, realizing what he asked. Did I say Adams name in my dream out loud? I tell him, “I have no idea what he is talking about”. Liam grabs me by the face harder. I see Adam walk this way. He looks pissed.

Adam says, “take your f*****g hands off her now! If you know what is good for you.” Candy steps up speaking to Liam. “I would listen if I was you look around.” Liam drops my face, looking around noticing there is over five people ready, to beat his ass. He gets back in the car. Adam comes up to me holding my face asking, “are you ok baby.” I hear Liam ask, “who the f**k are you calling baby?” Adam is looking me deep in the eyes giving me his attention not caring about Liam or his question. Or the fact that he just called me baby. I give him a sad look and I tell Adam “I’m fine” and get back in the car.

Then, after everyone calms down. We head out.

We drive around for a while. When Courtney and Candy spot everyone. They are parked at the gravel lot. Courtney pulls in, I stay in the car while they get out. It isn't long before I spot Adam. He must feel me looking because, Adam looks up, and smiles.

I blush.

I see him lean over, whispering something in Candy's ear. Whatever he says, Candy tells Courtney, and they look up at me. Candy, then walks over opening the car door, and pulls me out.

Not waiting to hear what Liam has to say Candy, shuts the car door. Then pulls me into the middle of everyone, I now Know as friends.

The guys have built a wall around me so, Liam can’t see me. That helps me relax, and I eventually forget about Liam. I’m laughing with some of them as they, joke around. I’m happy they aren't asking me questions, about what happened at the car wash.

When I feel hands go around my waist, I know it’s Adam. I turn around, and come only an inch from his face. He looks at my lips, licking his. I bite mine wondering, what it would be like to kiss his. he leans in, whispering “baby don't bite your lip, it does things to me.”

I blush, but it's cut off by baby “what happen to your neck”.

Adam, moves my hoodie over. Willie walks up, seeing the marks. I go to say something, But Willie starts yelling, “I’m going to beat his a**.” Before I can stop all the guys, who agree with Willie. They all turn, and walk towards Liam, who is leaning against the car. I don't say anything. Someone “Yells cops”. Everyone starts running back to their cars. Before I turn to leave Adam asks for my number. I hurry giving, Adam my number. When I get to the Car Liam is staring daggers at Adam. I yell “Liam” get in the car.

We all drive around listening to music for a little while until, I feel my phone buzz.

Adam- “Hey baby, it’s Adam. Save my number.”

Bria- “ok! It’s saved.”

Adam- “Are you ok? Bria, those marks are not the first ones, I have noticed. Why do you stay with him?”

Bria- “I will explain soon, I promise.”

Adam- “Ok. You should find a way to ditch the boyfriend and come ride with me.”

Bria- “I'm hanging out with Courtney, and Candy. I don't know if I can do that. Plus, Liam is in the car.”

Adam- “I will figure something out hold on. Then I will have you all to myself like, a date.”

Bria- “no date. I have a boyfriend remember.”

Adam- “I remember, but do you remember you have a boyfriend when I get close to you?”

Oh So, he notices that I lose all my senses around him. Great! I don't answer him back. He sends me a wink face.

I blush.

We are driving around for a while when I hear, Courtneys phone ring. She answers it saying “hello.” She listens to whoever is talking and then says, “yes ok. I can do that.”

She hangs up, looks at me, and winks. She pulls over into a parking lot. She turns around to talk with Liam, and Jake. She, tells them “That she has to pick up her sisters, and bring them out for a fun night.” She tells Liam, “She would really like to keep me to, because her sisters drive her nuts.” Jake speaks up, asking Liam, “if they can go back to his house to smoke.” (thanks Jake)

Liam looks at Jake, then says, ya before I have to beat that Adam dudes ass!

Candy makes a snorting noise, but doesn’t say anything.

Courtney smiles, and asks for Jake's address. Jake gives it to her, and she heads that way. We arrive at Jake’s, I open my door to let them out. Liam gets out, giving me a big sloppy kiss, saying “he would see me later.” Jake, gets out, and before he walks away, he looks at me saying “be careful Bria.” I look at him surprised he smiles ,and walks onto his porch where Liam, is waiting.
