Chapter 37Mahoney was packing off a group of hikers when we walked into Going Somewhere? He looked over as we walked in the door, setting off the elephant's roar door chime. "Hey, guys!" He gave us a big thumbs-up and a super-sized grin. "Be right with you!" Then went back to cinching straps on backpacks and telling the four young women a story about a bear scat sandwich. I wandered through the store while I waited, checking out photos on the walls. There were plenty starring Mahoney himself, always in the woods or on a river, usually with a group of people.
