So, he called again. And this time, I had no other choice but to answer the phone call.
"Hey! Drew!" I said after I answered the phone call.
"Hi, there!" He said.
"How have you been?" He asked.
"I've been good! How have you been?" I said.
"I've been good too." He said.
Just then, the phone call became really boring because he wasn't saying anything.
"So... What did you call me for?" I asked.
"What type of question is that? Can't I check up on my friend again?" He said as he laughed.
"Your friend?" I asked because I wasn't expecting him to address me as just his friend. I expected him to address me as his girlfriend. Because that was why I gave him my number.
"Why that question?" He asked.
At this point, I didn't know what to say.
"Nothing! Never mind!" I said as I faked a laugh
