Chapter 4

1372 Words
Miranda’s POV* I HATE THAT b***h!!!!! Indigo always has something smart to say to me. Now Kayden is up my ass about spreading his business. I mean everyone knows that we are dating. I knew about the other girls but that was before me, right? I did not expect the Alpha son to be a virgin. I just want to be Luna of this pack, rule by his side. I know without a doubt that Kayden will choose me to be his luna. I can see how Kayden looks at her. He thinks no one is paying attention, but I can see it. When she is in the same room as him, he will take glances at her, like he is dreaming or something. He acts like he doesn’t want her, but I know better. As long as she is nowhere near him, the better off we all will be. I am relieved that we do not share the same classes as her. The only time she is around is during training with the pack, pack celebrations/festivals, and I have my first period with her. Thanks to my Uncle David Jones, she is barely in Werewolf History. I don’t know how she is even passing that class. Uncle David said that he can make Indigo leave, but he cannot fail her because she completes her work and it is good. If he were to fail her, then he will be deemed as being unfair and it will cost him his job. I do have a heart and I cannot do that to my Uncle. He is my mom”s only brother and he followed her here to this pack. My mother’s pack was not all that good. She tells me that they were misogynists and would not let girls do any training. They were only allowed to take care of the pups and get mated. My mom was so happy to be mated to my dad, Beta Jack Stone of the Blue Diamond pack. Her brother, Uncle David, came with her. He found his mate a year after he moved here. Diana is nice, very timid and is a good cook. I just love her cooking. Last night was amazing, Kayden took me to new heights when we made love. I am so glad that I decided to give up my V-card to him. I am looking forward to more nights like that. We went to dinner at Izzy and Harry’s. He got steak and I got salmon. I did n’t want a steak this time around, there was no need to order big from the menu. Other guys that I have dated, I would get the steak to give them the impression that I am going to give up the goods. That’s what they all think when it comes to dinner dates. Steaks are not a ‘get the drawers’ indicator for me. It’s just a meal, hell my dad can buy me all the steaks I want. I prefer the New York strip, however, I wanted something lighter but fulfilling. I got grilled salmon. After dinner, we went dancing in the park and then we were off to his room. I will never forget that night. It was the best night of my life. Kayden had me in a moaning mess. I feel like I melted into his hands like I was chocolate. The next day at school, as soon as I saw Indigo, I just had to say something. She was there sitting down writing something in her notebook. I bet it had Kayden’s name written all over it like most girls at this school. “Hey guys, look it’s the purple eyed freak who think she’s better than everyone.” I said as I walked into the classroom. Uncle David isn’t here yet, so I can get away with that remark. Indigo gives her smart response back like I knew she would. “Hey guys look, 75% percent just walked in. Isn't it hard to be a basic b***h?” She retorted. As soon as she finished her sentence, Uncle David walks in. Just my luck and of course, he didn’t hear what I had said. “Indigo, I expected more of your choice of words. Now apologize to Miranda.” Mr. Jones said to Indigo. “I will not apologize for my choice of words to her. I will apologize for disrupting the class before it even began.” “An apology is needed and an apology is what I will get, if not you can sit in detention,” Uncle David states. Uncle David will always stick up for me no matter what. Good riddance to her for the next 45 minutes. I don’t have to worry about her until lunch. I am not worried about that because Kayden and I will be there holding hands. I will make sure to have a make out session with him before lunch. Lunch comes and as me and Kayden walk towards the line, I hear Indigo and Amy talking about the mating ball. “If you keep choosing to go to detention, You will be even lower than me since you claim that I am 75%.” “Miranda, if you had any wits about yourself, you would realize that you called yourself low.” Indigo said while shaking her head. “That’s your problem, you think you are better than everyone. You are nobody, you don’t even have a wolf. You are no better than a human,” I shouted out throughout the cafeteria. “Why do you think she doesn’t have a wolf? She smells like a wolf.” Someone says in the lunchroom. “Indigo did not shift when we were 16. She is wolf-less. Why do you think she is doing all of this extra training? She is trying to get her wolf to emerge.” The lunchroom burst out in laughter at Indigo. My duty is done, one small accomplishment for today. Making Indigo a laughing stock of the school. This should keep her mouth shut for the remainder of the day. My hopes were short lived until the end of the day. I saw her standing at the entrance waiting for Amy. Shannon and Michelle have cheerleading practice. This lame b***h dont even have a car. She got to ride other people. I guess being Head Warrior and having a half witch b***h as a mother doesn’t pay as well as being a Beta. Me being me, I was talking to Chantel, Melissa, Sierra, and Zali while walking towards the entrance of the school. I wasn’t too loud, just loud enough for Indigo to hear me. I unceremoniously bumped into her, on purpose of course and said, “Watch where you are going wolf-less,” I yelled at her making a scene. “You bumped into me, I was stationary. Maybe you should watch where you are going while you are talking about your s*x capades with Kayden,” She responded, falling into my trap. “Oh, is someone jealous that I am dating Kayden? What… you have some kind of crush on him? Get real purple eyed freak, he will never want you.” I said to her in front of my friends. “You can have future Alpha community c**k all to yourself. I don’t want him, besides this conversation needs to be directed towards Synthia, Shante, Cassie, Amelia, and Victoria,” Indigo says to me. My friends looked at me and her with their mouths wide open. I can’t believe she said that. I couldn’t even respond to her. This b***h always leaves me tongue tied and shocked with her remarks. I was fuming. I promise if I was a white girl, I would have been red. I just stomped off and went home. I left an angry message for Kayden to see when he got out of football practice. Anyway, I need to come up with a plan to make sure Indigo is out of the picture for good. That way, Kayden will only have eyes for me. I have bigger fish to fry when it comes to Indigo. I will see that b***h at training today.
