The next day, I woke up with my stomach rumbling with hunger. I decided to go downstairs to cook myself breakfast. I shouldn’t skip any meals, given that I have another life to feed inside me.
The first thing I did was brew myself a cup of coffee before toasting two pieces from one loaf of bread. I was just waiting for it to finish when a knock outside my door surprised me.
