Lucia POV
I rushed away from the scene, No...more like ran from it but I could feel Bane on my heels. My heart pounding I whipped around the corner hoping to find a place to hide but instead it was a dead end.
I felt like a trapped mouse with my heart nearly about to rip out of my chest. I could see his shadow inching closer as he rounded the corner. He knew now...he knew I could hear him and he knew I could feel the mate bond too. I can't be trapped like this.
"So let me get this straight, you tell me you have no feelings for me whatsoever yet, you almost burn a woman's head off that started stripping on top of me."
Bane said to me through his thoughts. He was in the entrance of the alley way now, inching closer to me.
"So tell me do you feel it? That ache, that eats away at you."
