Toya pulled away from Kyou’s restraining arms and whirled around to face him. “Why the hell did you stop me?”
Kyou glared at his young sibling. “Stop being the fool Toya. Can’t you feel it?”
“What the f**k are you blabbing about now?” Toya retorted but stopped when he felt what Kyou was speaking of. The sensation of being closed in was all around them and, in the distance, Toya could hear an eerie cry. It sounded almost like singing… beautiful, haunting and indescribably evil.
“Kyoko,” Toya whispered, the name fell from his lips like a prayer to the gods themselves. “They were after her.” Suddenly he found himself holding on to Kyou as his feet left the ground. “What the….”
“I’m driving,” Kyou stated and rose into the air with Toya.
“What do you mean you’re driving?” Toya demanded.
