"Sending the spirits" After their devastating lost to the Powerful dragon Smite, most of the Gods and Goddesses became spirits. While the ones who were still in their own flesh, went to the underworld along with the spirits. “Thank you for letting us stay here with you, Hades” Horae said “No problem. But you do know you can’t stay here for a long time, right?” Hades says “I know, I have to come up with a plan. We need to defeat Smite” She said Hades let out a deep sigh as he continued “My brother always mess up everything” He looks at Horae and asks “So, what’s your plan?” “Well, we technically don’t have any since the other gods decided to convert themselves as a spirit, so I’m all alone in this planning” She says, trying not to anger him for he had already been stressed enough “So, the great gods and goddesses of Greek decided to turn into their spirit form and avoid to avoid all this mess, huh? Idiots” He said but murmured the last word “Well, at least think of something! Where is Athena?” He asks, looking for the goddess of wisdom “She’s also in spirit form…” Horae says He lets out another sigh as he touches his beloved wife’s glass that had contained her spirit. She was the precious daughter of Demeter and Zeus and Hades had loved her as she to him. Persephone, the goddess of spring growth, was also harmed during the great war. She was killed during her visit to the overworld. “Look where you’re at…at least your safe” he mumbled as the spirit glowed at his touch “I have an idea” Melinoë said, the daughter of Hades and Zeus “How about we use the spirits to possess human beings?” She suggests “Are you crazy? What if it would make the situation much worse?” Hades asks “My brother Zagreus and I have found a hidden portal to the future of the overworld which, of course we can go there and find human beings – “ “Melinoë, what are you trying to say?” Horae asks her “We already found some human beings who would be perfect for this job. And what I’m trying to say is that those human beings who are from the future would defeat Smite…Did that make sense?” Melinoë tried to explain to them her plan but the two still couldn’t understand “Just…come follow me, okay?” She said as she led the two to the hidden portal They got into the portal and had saw her sister Makaria, the goddess of blessed deaths, guarding the place. “What are you doing here?” She asks, slightly annoyed for the fact the siblings had decided to never show this place to anyone, not even to their father. “I had come up of a plan involving this portal, so if you don’t mind” Melinoë said, gesturing for her to move out of the way “This portal was made by the god Janus, it can travel to the future or the past, Mișcare în spațiu” Makaria said “Only pure hearted souls like the ones from the Elysian Fields can enter using their actual heart. But do not worry for I can provide those needs so you could travel.” She opened a jar that contained a heart and placed it. The portal had opened and let out a glow. The portal’s shape was a unique kind that it was hard enough to be describe. It had a circular shape but a cut on the top, as if another circle had interjected the right top side and had various flowers around it. “Do you guys want to go to the past or future?” Makaria asks “Future” Horae said as Makaria throws olives all around the portal. “Well, let’s release the spirits then” Horae said Makaria was horrified of about what she was about to do but hesitated to stop her. The two girls heard their father letting out a sigh as Horae took one of the glass and opened it up, the top facing towards the portal as it went to the future. Hours went by and Hades and Horae decided to rest in the Elysian Fields. While the sisters went their own way. “She what?” Zagreus asks as he had just heard about the story of hoe Melinoë had broken the promise and showed the portal. “Listen, remember those mortals we saw during our trip to the future last week, weren’t they kind?” Melinoë asks “Yes, we do” Makaria said as the memory was still fresh in her mind. “Well, since they were nice enough to take care of us, I decided to gift them by using the spirits as they posses those mortals and kill Smite” Melinoë explains Both Zagreus and Makaria groans after they had heard what she had said “What do you mean by ‘gift’? You’re literally giving them a curse to fight Smite!” Makaria says “But they’d be a hero” She said “Yeah, but chances are they’d die before killing Smite. The others couldn’t defeat him, what made you think them, being MORTALS would defeat him?!” Zagreus asks then groans "I mean, everyone dies in the end. So what?" Melinoé says _______________________________
