Ruthless – Chapter 2: Broken Ties
Abir's revenge and the Sindhania family's worries have reached a dangerous crossroads. Love, pain, and hatred have woven a complex web where all the characters’ lives are intricately entangled.

Abir and Saksham’s Confrontation
The storm in Abir’s private underground basement was palpable.
Saksham, unable to bear seeing his sister Charvi in such a broken state, embraced her tightly despite his own unbearable pain. But that fleeting moment of solace didn’t last long.
Abir, with his burning gaze, pulled Charvi away from Saksham and yanked her toward him.
"I told you, didn’t I? You’re my slave. How dare you get so close to someone else?"
Charvi, who had remained silent until now, simply stared into Abir’s eyes. Her quiet defiance infuriated Abir even more.
"Your silence won’t last long. Charvi Sindhania, I will mold you according to my will."
Fighting through his pain, Saksham begged,
"Abir, do whatever you want with me, but leave Charvi alone. She’s innocent."
Abir smirked wickedly,
"Innocent or not, she’ll pay the price. This is just the beginning."

Sindhania Mansion
The Sindhania family was restless over the sudden disappearance of their children.
Manushree and Prem Sindhania had tried everything, but there was no trace of Charvi and Saksham.
Prem’s elder brother, Ritesh Sindhania, brushed it off lightly,
"You’re worrying for no reason. Saksham and Charvi must have gone somewhere for fun."
Manushree, who had always disliked Ritesh’s casual attitude, walked away to the kitchen, unable to bear his remarks.
But Prem was still uneasy.
"Saksham has never done this before. And Charvi’s condition... something feels terribly wrong."

Arya Palace – Abir’s Family
A strange silence hung over the Arya family as well.
Abir’s younger sister, Anvi Arya, sat in her room’s balcony, lost and forlorn. Her eyes were swollen from crying, and slow, melancholic lo-fi music played in the background.
In the living room, Abir’s mother, Soumya Arya, sat in front of the TV, her thoughts far away.
At that moment, Abir’s younger brother, Rishan Arya, around 21 years old, entered the house. Sitting beside his mother, he asked,
"Mom, your favorite show is on, but your mind seems somewhere else. What’s wrong?"
Soumya looked at Rishan, and suddenly broke into tears, pulling him into a tight hug. Rishan comforted her,
"Mom, if you break down like this, who will take care of Di? Please don’t cry."
---
Abir’s Anger and Confusion
Back at his private mansion, Abir wrestled with an unusual turmoil. Charvi’s silence was unsettling. He knew he had inflicted immense pain on her, yet he wanted her to react, to fight back.
Rishan was still comforting Soumya when Abir walked in through the main gate. Seeing him, Soumya quickly wiped her tears and got up from the sofa.
"Abir… where have you been for the past two days? I called you so many times!" she asked, her voice heavy with concern.
Abir glanced at her briefly before replying in a calm tone,
"Mom, I had some important work."
Rishan, aware of everything, clenched his eyes shut, struggling to contain his emotions as he heard Abir's dismissive response.
Without another word, Abir strode toward his room.
---
Abir’s Room
Abir’s room reflected his dark and intense personality. Black curtains covered the windows, paired with a gray bedsheet and black carpet. The aesthetic was minimal yet strikingly authentic. Attached to his room was a small gallery with a beautifully maintained garden that had only a few carefully chosen flowers. The gardening area exuded a serene charm.
Abir entered the room briskly, threw his coat onto the sofa, and headed straight to the bathroom.
Inside, he placed both hands on the mirrored wall, closed his eyes, and let the cold water soak him completely. As the water cascaded down, his mind replayed the events of the past few days.
---
Flashback
Sitting in his office cabin, Abir was engrossed in file work when his phone rang. It was Mihir, his close friend.
"The person you asked me to track is returning to India today on the 8 AM flight," Mihir informed him.
A devilish smirk appeared on Abir’s face as he cut the call without letting Mihir finish. Mihir stared at his phone, muttering,
"What a strange guy! Couldn’t even say thanks. Wonder what’s going on in his head."
Abir immediately called his personal secretary, Rajveer, and said,
"Decorate the mansion and prepare for the wedding. Your boss is getting married today."
Rajveer simply replied, "Okay, boss," before hanging up.
Grabbing his jacket, Abir left the cabin and drove his sleek black Rolls Royce to the airport.
---
At the Airport
The 8 AM flight landed, and Saksham emerged, holding Charvi’s hand tightly. Both carried backpacks on their shoulders, while Saksham pulled a trolley bag.
They stepped outside, intending to hail a taxi. Instead, a car belonging to Abir’s men stopped in front of them. Before they could react, the men forcefully separated them and took them away in different cars.
Saksham kept shouting,
"Who are you people? Where’s my sister?"
But his questions went unanswered.

Flashback Ends
Abir stepped out of the bathroom, now wearing a pair of lowers, and dried his messy hair with a towel. Standing before the mirror, he looked at his reflection. His muscular chest bore an eagle wing tattoo on the right side, covering nearly half of his chest. His hand instinctively ran over the scar from a gunshot wound, the mark bringing back painful memories. His eyes burned red with a mixture of rage and anguish.
On his back was a roaring lion tattoo, exuding power and intensity.
Abir slipped into a plain white V-neck T-shirt, picked up his laptop, and immersed himself in his work. Abir’s business spanned car designing, event management, and diamonds, with branches worldwide. He worked with precision, like an expert in every domain.
---
An Emergency
As Abir was focused on his work, an emergency alarm buzzed on his smartwatch. Without wasting a second, he closed his laptop, placed it on the table, and rushed out of his room.
He entered another room two doors down, where two nurses were rubbing Anvi’s hands and feet. She was trembling violently, her eyes rolled back.
Abir hurried to her side, placed a gentle hand on her head, and said with deep anguish,
"Anu… relax! Look at me. I’m here. Nothing will happen to you. Just open your eyes… I’m here!"
Despite his soothing words, Anvi’s body continued to convulse. Her lips moved as if she were murmuring something, but it was incomprehensible.
Abir dismissed the nurses with a sharp command and held Anvi by her shoulders, gently propping her up before pulling her into his chest. He rubbed her back and stroked her hair, whispering softly until her body slowly calmed down. Eventually, she fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.
Only then did Abir’s racing heart find a moment of relief. Turning to the nurses, his eyes burning with anger, he barked,
"Call the doctor."
Terrified by his fiery glare, one nurse stammered,
"Y-yes, sir."
