Time For The Party Day!!!

I had been out for a couple of days from the savage beating both the current & soon to be Alpha gave me. I couldn't help but wonder why everyone hated me so much. Despite them all being mean, I knew that getting mean & fighting back would solve nothing. My body was sore & still healing from everything. One of the doctors snuck into the basement & found me. Laying on my bed, blood everywhere, cuts, bruises, & broken bones.

It was a wonder I was not dead. I was lucky that the doctors were able to bandage me up & I was able to work the next morning. My wrist was broken, but I still cleaned the floor & made breakfast like I was supposed to. I was scrubbing my floor in my basement to finish some of my chores & make it clean so Alpha & his son could access the wine cellar without seeing the mess. I even moved my bed stuff around so no one could see it, as I was not supposed to show that I lived down here when we had company. For the remainder of the day I was supposed to stay hidden & the Lycan King & a few of his men could show up at any time & they didn't want me to taint anything they had for the Lycan King.

However, that is not what happened at all. I heard both the Alpha & his son running down the stairs in my direction. When I looked up at them while lying on my bed curled up in a ball, one of them ripped me off the bed, ripping off my clothes, & began beating me. I recognized Alpha Giddion's scent as he made his way down the steps rubbing his scent against the wall. He was relying on it to help hide my scent. He and Kendrick beat me more, bruising my entire stomach, & making me bleed as I acquired new cuts & brands applied to my skin.

Both the soon-to-be Luna & the current Luna called down to let the boys know the King had arrived & that they needed to get cleaned up & presentable. They rushed up the stairs & I was left naked on the floor chained up to the wall. Everything had gone black & I felt nothing but bliss as I began to fade away. I heard a voice & I didn't recognize it, let alone the scent. No one had met any of the previous Lycan kings to my knowledge, but apparently it was a big deal to have a Luna, who was a Lycan descendant, & he wanted to be there. Everything still remained dark & I knew I was still in the basement, & all I knew was I fell into the darkness more so than ever before as all the noise faded. In the darkness, I was able to eventually hear a whisper "Your mate is here, wake up."

Lycan King Conri POV

I looked around the road as we passed many different places along the way to the pack where one of my distant cousins was to be married to an alpha. She was small for a descendant of a Lycan, but then again, that is probably why she fit in so well here, too. She was a snobby, entitled, selfish brat & I didn't want to be here, but in a way, I was happy to be here. She could be this pack's problem. When my Gamma & my best friend & I got to the driveway of the Dark Moon pack, we hit the buzzer to let us in. The gate slowly creaked open &, by the sound of it, it could use a little DW40.

We got closer & closer to the pack house & I couldn't help but smell this delectable smell. It smelled of honey, milk, & sugar, & I wish I knew who it was. I stepped out of the car, stepping next to the ivory fountain, taking in my surroundings. Alpha Giddion was waiting outside on the porch & he was grinning, but he smelled the honey, milk, & sugar smell. I raised my head towards the sky as I took the biggest deep breath I have ever taken. Alpha Giddion was talking, but I did not care about what he had to say.

I began to walk further to what seemed to be the dungeon, & when I was able to find the double doors I was able to smell the honey, milk, & sugar smell stronger the closer I got. Just as I reached the door, Alpha Giddion reached my side. My lord, that is just our dungeon. There is nothing that concerns you down there. It's used more for the wine cellar & servants' living space. I looked at him with fury in my eyes and ripped the doors open, following the steps deep down under the ground.

The further I went, the more I found the place disgusting. It smelled of pee, poop, blood, & stale sweat. I stood still & was able to finally smell the honey, milk & sugar smell I had been searching for. I found this tiny girl chained to the wall, her wrists bleeding, several broken bones, losing blood, & she was naked. I could tell she had been tortured & raped by the alpha & his son. Their scent was all over her.

Not only that, she had scars from head to toe on her. I was so disgusted I ripped the chains off of her delicate body, freeing her from this place. I immediately carried her to the doctor's office nearby & she was in such bad shape. She needed immediate help & she was obviously not getting that from those people. When I got to the hospital, they had already had a bed set up for her as if they were expecting her. The Alphas had done one h*** of a number on her & so this was the girl who they sent the letter to me about.

This is my mate, & I look forward to leaving & being far away from here. I watched as they assessed all the damage done to her, the rape kits processed & more. When I saw how thick her file was & that this had been going on since she was about 10 or 11 years old, I knew I was beyond furious & that I was not going to stand for this. H*** hath no fury like a mad mate, nevertheless a mad Lycan king's mate. I knew they were going to keep her for at least three days, but I intended to have her transferred to my medical team as soon as she was released, so I could get her extra help. A lot of time, building trust & more was going to be needed & I was willing to wait as long as I had to for her to be ready.

After all, I waited from my 18th birthday till now, & it's been 4 years since then. I will wait a thousand years or longer if I have to. No one should take a mate for granted. I stayed on the couch in her room as they took blood samples, ran tests on her, x-rays, & more. It was finally rolling into the evening & I knew she wasn't going to wake up any time soon, so I decided to go & have a word with the Alphas. After giving the nurses my information to call me when she was awake, I left & I found who I was looking for.

Today was supposed to be the party day, but having seen this & it just so happened to be my mate who went through all of this. It was no longer a day to celebrate. This pack will no longer be a pack. The only ones I will allow to come into the room are the doctors & nursing staff because I got personal letters from them about this girl who is my mate. I grabbed the Alpha & his son by the throat and growled. You will never touch my mate again.

You are all labeled Rogues as far as I am concerned & all wolves will know this. The only ones who will not be rogues are the doctors & nursing staff, especially since they have/will stay to help take care of my Mate. I watched as they dropped to the floor and I left to go back to the hospital once I made sure they hit the floor with a hard thud. When I got back, I could hear the alarms going off. As I got closer to her room, I saw the staff members running in & out of her room. They wheeled her so fast for emergency surgery that I didn't have time to keep up. All I could do was sit in the room, running my hands through my hair. I laid down on the couch, trying to relax & hope for the best.
