A New Dawn a New Day

I watched as my tiny mate slept on our journey. We stopped & I bought some snacks, a whole assortment of chocolates, & at least 300 pregnancy tests. I had no idea what ones to get & they had so many choices. When I got into the car she was waking up but went back to sleep. I heard her wolf cry out & she began crying as if something was burning her. I quickly picked her up holding her in my arms & she calmed down.

She eventually woke up & we began talking to get to know each other better. She had some questions that I knew I had no answer to at the moment. So I had her write them down hoping she could. She said she hadn't written since she was about 10. I watched ask she wrote the first few questions & her calligraphy was beautiful for someone who hadn't written in so long. After a while we decided to stop at a nearby dinner to eat.

She looked at me like a child asking if she could try certain things. I called her honey not even thinking about her past. I felt like such an ass and she told me a list of names she had that would trigger her. All I could do was grimace & I struggled to get sorry out of my mouth after that. The waitresses brought her hot chocolate with marshmallows on the side & some tap water with a lemon in it like she wanted. I watched as she tried a sip of my coffee.

Her nose made a crinkle look to it telling me she didn't like the coffee. After a while she asked about the pregnancy tests I bought. I went to the car & got them out & brought the whole bag in & handed it to her. She took the bag and went into the family bathroom. She shrugged her shoulders before she went all the way in. About 10 minutes later I got a text... " I need either you or Dr. George for support. I got some results & I just can't be by myself now." Said Noname.

I went & I notified the doctor to be on standby. I went and knocked on the door and she slowly opened it. I could see her face puffy, eyes red, tears down her cheeks. Can I come in? She opened the door wider and let me in. They all said pregnant.

I took pictures & sent them to the doctor really fast so he knew. She sat on the floor crying saying it was her fault, & she didn't know how to feel about anything. I picked her up and sat with her holding her. The doctor knocked on the door. " Hey guys just came to see if you're ok?" asked Dr. George. When I looked down she was passed out from crying so much.

I carefully picked her up, & asked the doctor to take care of everything. He quickly cleaned up and grabbed all the tests that said pregnant along with the bag. We got into the car & I laid her along the length of the back seat as I sat in the seat across from her. She was exhausted & I was too. I eventually fell asleep too, & I looked forward to having my Luna no matter how long it would take. When I woke up I heard screaming with sobs in the middle of the night.

Noname was obviously in pain & it wasn't just mentally, emotionally, but it was physical pain too. The drivers stopped and Dr. George flung open his door running to mine hearing her screams & sobs in her sleep. He got into my car & he removed her blanket. There was blood everywhere, her blanket soaked in it her stomach was bigger than it was about 5 hours ago. She needed medical attention immediately & Dr. George didn't have everything. Luckily we were 5 minutes from where we were going & I had a hospital attached to my lands.

I called my healer & let Dr George tell him what he needed at the hospital. We made it in time & we rushed her in on the gurney. Dr. George knew what he was doing as the healer yelled out commands & I had to wait outside. I had no clue what was happening all I could do was run my hands through my hair. 2 hours had passed & Dr.George finally came out. She is awake asking for you by name your majesty.

Just please be careful with her she was pregnant with twins. She was in pain because she was already 12 weeks somehow & She lost a lot of blood. Luckily her & I are the same blood type. I donated my blood to help her. I saw him begin to falter and I called over a nurse to take him to lay down. Hey Doc next time let someone else donate.

She needs you & I need you to be strong to help her get better. Here are the keys to your room to rest in the guest rooms for all hospital visitors & I'll have your bags put in your room. I walked away knowing one of my nurses had him & he was in good hands. I went into her room slowly & She was barely awake. Hey how you feeling? " The doctor told me I miscarried and there were indeed twins.

He said I was already 12 weeks along." She said. She fell asleep before she could ask more. I hoped she would pick a new name soon because I really hated calling her Noname. I sat in the chair watching t.v. till 1 a. m. hoping she would be alright before I eventually fell asleep with her hand in mine, my head on her bed next to her leg, &my other hand on her thigh next to my head. I cracked my eyes open to the dawn of the day rising and she was awake. She was having her vitals checked & she looked a lot better than she did several hours ago.

I sat up quickly and she just giggled. I sat there looking at her beautiful smile, her long chocolate brown hair, & her hazel eyes with blue flakes around the iris. She seemed happier than yesterday. Maybe it's a sense of relief that the prophecy came true about the babies & the mate thing. I honestly hoped it was because she was in a new spot, with a fresh start full of hope. I didn't want to ask I was afraid to ask to be honest.

I know funny a big guy like me is scared to ask anything, but I didn't want to trigger anything from her past & send her backwards in her progress. "Hey so I thought about the name thing. I think I would like to be called Magnolia, I am not 100% yet. Another name I like is Dawn." she said so calmly. I feel like Iliana or Aurora. They both mean dawn or light.

She smiled as she sat there thinking for a while. After a while she broke the silence. " So I have been thinking about what you have said & today is a new dawn of a new day. I would love to be called Aurora. I feel like that's what my name would have been if my parents hadn't died. It seems fitting now that I can look to a brighter side of things hopefully. Said Aurora.

I asked if she wanted a last name and she simply relied with "we are mates now can we just get married so I can take your last name." I smiled & reminded her I don't want to rush anything. Her name was literally No name, & now she wants to be called Aurora. I loved it & it seemed to fit her. She insisted that we get married first before we did anything. I had some elders that lived here so I decided to ask if this was customary for a king or if we could just be mates.

She had questions & I planned to find out the answers. She was beautiful, & she was going to get to go home, her new home in 2 days. This poor thing had gone through so much I wanted her to be comfortable. She smiled as she watched cartoons, & fell asleep taking naps off & on. Dr. George came to see how she was and check on her vitals, wounds, & any stitches she had. Since she started eating more & was in a better environment she was healing quite fast.

He was thinking she could be released tomorrow instead of in 2 days with how fast she was healing. She was doing remarkably well. I felt like she would do better in my room so I decided to have her things put into my room last minute. She was doing great & was even walking around by the end of the day. She ate well & surprisingly she was eating about half of her foods. Dr. George said it would take a while, but he wanted her to eat 3 meals & 3 snacks a day.

She was under weight for someone who was 5ft 7"in. I was 7ft 5" in tall & I was about 200lbs but that's cause I have a high metabolism. I left the hospital to take care of a few things & make sure Auroras stuff was put away & easy to find for her. She told me she didn't want to be in a room by herself, so I wanted to make sure everything was ok for when she got released. When I returned to the hospital She was asleep again. I was told to let her sleep as much or as little as she needed or wanted. With everything she has gone through to help her heal sleep was up to her but crucial.
