The Big News

Aurora POV

My old pack was coming back today to get me. However, it was smaller than I remember. There were a lot of people with whom things never set right with about me being hurt the way I was. I am not thrilled about this. Conri knew when they were coming, but I wanted to face my fears & face my old Alpha's. They were technically no longer a pack & there were a couple of pack members who came this morning seeking refuge from my old pack.

I wasn't happy about this still, but this was going to be something I had to do too. When the time came, I stood next to King Conri. My former Alpha's just snarled as they saw me standing next to him. "You have no right to break up our pack & dismantle our pack. We were doing just fine before you came along. So give up the b***h & we will be on our merry way." Said both my former Alpha's.

King Conri was still holding my hand when I stepped forward. This b***h has a name. My name is Aurora. Turns out I am a decendant of an alpha & an elder. I bear the special mark. You guys make me sick & I never wanna see you again.

If you show up ever again, you could end up dead. You guys were the worst Alpha's I have ever had. You guys have hurt me since I was 10 years old. No good Alpha or soon to be Alpha would do what you guys did to me. I got pregnant with twins because you both got me pregnant at the same time. Alpha Giddion & Alpha Kendrick, you are a disgrace as Alpha's.

You are cast out as rouge wolves. I Aurora, your Lycan Queen & Luna command you to leave. Next time you show your faces, you will be executed, & your mates will know when you're gone. Now go... this is the last time I will give you to leave freely. As he stepped forward to growl at me, that is when King Conri stepped in front of me, groweling back. I listened to the boys snarling at each other.

Conri was ready for a fight, but I had enough. I stepped forward & put my hand on Conri's chest. His blond hair blew in the wind even though it was short. His eyes changed from a deep, dark blue to his light angel blue eyes. He stood by me, his beta, & Gamma stepped forward with Conri as they moved me back behind them. I walked in front of them & made my statement.

Thank you, guys, for protecting me, but these two are dishonorable. They don't fight for loved ones or friends like you guys do. They fight for themselves. They don't even fight for pack members. They are no longer Alpha's & are now rogue. They are not worth our time anymore.

Even the lycan omegas can overpower them. Guards, please escort these rogues off our property. If they come back, kill them automatically, please. They have brought me enough pain, & I will see them no more. "I agree, men. Do as your Luna asks.

We may not be mated yet, but she is your Luna, & her heart is pure. Please listen to her. She has gone through enough & they have caused your Luna more than enough pain." said King Conri. I don't know why, but I started feeling ill all of a sudden. I began feeling weak & everyone started to notice. My old Alpha's lunged forward to try to grab me on my moment of weakness, but King Conri was quicker.

The guards stepped in between us & began to forcefully move them off the property as they kept reaching out to grab me. Conri picked me up before I blacked out. I felt like I was in the dark forever. Eventually, the darkness fled away.

Lycan King Conri POV

We stood at the gates & watched as Aurora stood her ground. She tapped my shoulder, & I felt her getting weaker & weaker. We had not done anything, so I had no idea what was wrong. I quickly swooped her up as her old Alpha's lunged at her. My guards quickly grabbed both former Alpha's & began removing them off the property. They were being shoved off the property as they screamed, " we will be back & this is not over." Screamed the former Alpha's.

I carried Aurora to my healers/ doctors as fast as possible. The stress of them showing up made her black out & nausea. They also found silver flakes on her, but when & how did they get it on her. She was to rest & when she woke, drink plenty of fluids. I watched over her that night, & when the sun rose, I still couldn't sleep. Aurora snuggled up next to me & began to move around in her sleep quite a bit, thankfully.

She was doing better since a nurse removed all the silver off of her with her magic. Her color came back to her pretty ivory white skin vs when she looked paper white. Her lips were a beautiful pail dusty rose color again, & I couldn't wait to see if her eyes were back to normal, too. I stayed with her all night as I watched them switch her from a breathing mask to a breathing tube. She was breathing some what easier, but she was looking like she still didn't feel good still. I fell asleep holding her hands, with my head, laying on her bed.

The next morning, I woke up to the sun shining in my face. I could hear whispered words coming from Aurora. She was saying, "Please don't hurt me, I'm sorry, & the last bit I couldn't catch." I held her hand, rubbing it back & forth as she calmed down. I could feel our sparks flying in between us as I held her hand. She opened her eyes for the first time in a week.

I hoped she would do better & that she would be ok. She slowly looked around & saw me, & she calmed down. She passed back out & I called a nurse to check on her. They said at this point she is just going to need a lot of rest & eat good. Even if that meant 3 meals, 3 snacks. The doctors were able to release her since she woke up, & got up a couple of times on her own.

I carried her out, sitting her in the front seat. I gently buckled her in & covered her up with a blanket. I was happy to get to take her home. When we got their one of my omegas, Leana had my bed rolled down and ready for us. I carried Aurora carefully into our room, laying her down. Leana stayed by her side with a fresh bowl of hot water wetting down a wash cloth & laying it on her forehead.

She had asked me to become a doctor once for all werewolves, & Lycans, & I agreed. She was a nurse right now, & I was thankful to have her on my staff. She was brilliant & very smart for only 17 years old. She was an orphaned omega, & that meant she needed more care than most. I had to be the one who signed everything for her because orphaned omegas were my responsibility & she would get a chance to be a doctor if I could help make it happen. I was thankful she decided to stay with Aurora since I needed to go & have a word with my beta & Gamma.

A war was coming, & this was only the start of it. Aurora was destined for greatness & a part of a prophecy I had found told well before our time. I was glad I found it. It said she would live a long & happy life & we were going to have 2 boys & 2 girls. I looked forward to seeing our beautiful babies as they got older. Now, it was time to tell Aurora about the prophecy & what it would bring.
